Grizzly Mauling

Saturday 19th January saw the Red Armys first fixture of the new year. We travelled to Warwickshire for our annual county darts meeting.

Despite both teams being severely depleted with many members attending PDC Q school the standard of games was phenomenal with over 50 180's and many legs of 11 - 14 darts.

After wiring a few doubles I still managed to win 3 - 0 with a joint Lady of the Match average of 20.04 along with Anne Marie Millership.

The Red Army's troops took a severe mauling by the Warwickshire Bears however sometimes you have to Lose a battle to Win the War! Whilst the Bear will wither and die the Red Rose will always re bloom.

On a personal darts front with all the uncertainty surrounding BDO ranked competitions versus the new WDF system I had missed the entries and chance of a room for the massive Dutch Open.

I will keep on playing and practising until the up coming Scottish, Slovakian and Isle of Man darts competions.
