December / January tends not to have many competitions which is gratefully received by me this year. This allows me to spend more time with real family & friends - rather than my darts family & friends.
2018 -2019 has been a testing time for me both personally & darts wise. Trying to work full time and care for my terminally ill father whilst trying to complete the BDO tour can take its toll not only financially but mentally. However I could not have done it without all my friends and family - albeit real or darts. I thank you all!!
Despite the sadness of not being able to defend my 28 points earned in the Dutch open it has not dampened my determination. I have seen my game, love and confidence grow and despite some bad times and being exhausted it has just made me more hungry to get into the top 16 BDO ladies by the end of the current season. Also I'd like to break into the top 10 ladies for England darts. (for current rankings please see Menu - cover page)
I am looking forward to my next Lancashire game away with the Red Army to hopefully continue my unbeaten record this season & who knows possibly more magical 180's ( which eluded me for 5 yrs!) also to help our latest quest for the BICC championship title.
I am really going to work on my focus and consistency going forwards. To make sure I close the game out given any opportunity.
