It has been a very busy few weeks on the darts front - Long awaited I hasten to add. No more online darts after winning Iain Chattertons Ladies Premier league and taking the £100 prize money in a field of very talented ladies gave me a little confidence booster. Playing real darts, playing out out with the buzz of people around you and the heat of the stage light has been so missed!
My second time at the Cleveland Open led to me coming Runner Up to the fabulous Crissy Manley and also a quarter finalist (losing out to the eventual winners) in the Pairs, with Lil Miss Dynamite & newly Lancashire Seniors selected - Eleanor Cairns. Whilst still adjusting from the online darts scene I was happy to take that and take home over £200 in prize monies. Going for further next time.
It was time to work on my darts rankings with the start of the WDF comps and of course see all my darting friends and family. First was was the England National Singles and Gold rated England Open. Both of these comps carry not only England but WDF ranking points. There was also the chance for the winner to claim a spot ( and my Darting Dream ) to play at The Lakeside.
The National Singles didn't go quite to plan with me dipping in confidence and at times lacking focus. I lost in the last 32 ladies to the fantastic and in form Roz Bulmer. However my focus was for the main, big, Gold ranked England Open. After a few great games I managed to win my Group. To get to the semi final I had to beat my Idol and 10 times Ladies Darts Champion Trina Gulliver. It wasn't the best game from us both but the doubles were on my side - for once.

I had made a Semi Final in a Major ranked competition and I felt good - so much so I decided to celebrate with a lil dip in the Sea to celebrate. I felt calm and in control and just had to take this on to the stage against the 3 times Ladies Darts Champion Anastasia Dobromyslova.

I can honesty say that despite a few crisis of confidence I am so happy with the result from this weekends action. To see my name up alongside the Ladies darting greats blows me away but I know I have the game to take them all the way.
My Lakeside dream is still on! I can't wait to get back into County darts with the Red Army and look forward to the upcoming PDC Womens Series on 24th September. If anyone would like to sponsor me for this or any upcoming events just drop me a message.
