Sunday 9th February saw me head down to Lancashires home venue St Thomas Sports and Social club in Wigan for another inter county clash. This time against Hampshire.
Saturday's troops had given us a steady foundation to build upon to get ourselves back into winning ways. The Red Army looked fantastic in our new darts shirts from our new sponsors Darts Corner and Mission darts.
Following on from Saturday's ladies hard earned draw we needed to build on this for our men to issue the final charge to victory. I was drawn out in third place. Battle of the Jo's. Myself versus fellow BDO darts circuit competitor Jo Rolls.
Jo and I have only played each other once on the tour with myself being the victor. Feeling confident but feeling really unwell with a fever & cough. Despite being under the weather and trying my best not to be coughing whilst playing I managed to win the game by taking each of the three legs. I started the ladies charge from two nil down to victory ending 4.2 and setting the men well on their way for the weekends team victory.
Continuing my Lancashire 2019/20 season with my 100% record. Leaving me currently in 10th position in the over all ladies A team standings even missing one game.
Long may it continue. The travelling starts again soon... bring on Scotland.
