Boomerang! ** New Video & Images attached plz see Menu **

Updated: Nov 30, 2020

Thursday nights are when the ladies of Top Gun productions Premier and Championship darts leagues take to the Oche. Minus a couple of absolute diamonds whom have had to withdraw from the league due to injuries. Wishing both Maria and Suzanne best wishes and hope they get fixed soon.

Nov 26th saw opponents lock horns again in the start of the reversed fixtures. Looking back over the first 3 weeks of games there were some really good games, scoring and finishing but clearly legs/games I had thrown away. But like a Boomerang, I have the faith... It will return!

First game was a close game against Denise Cassidy. It was a result reversal and honours even between us with us both winning one 3.1. Game 2 was another nail biter against Brenda Dyer. This time the roles reversed in my favour with a 3.2 result.

All of the ladies in this league are dangerous and are more than capable of hitting high averages. However one thing is for sure all the ladies are so nice! It's lovely to be able to speak to and make new friends just like an extended darts family virtual bubble. Game 4 was my turn on the streaming again playing young Lauren Stokoe. To view this game please head into my Video section for the new addition.

This time streaming went ahead without any hitch. I needed a better result here than last time I had played. I still have a problematic arm/shoulder but now I can feel my thumb so my darts felt more normal in my hand. A great game was had by both, I stormed through on my own legs hitting a couple of early placed 180s, however Lauren held in well on her own throw and capitalised on my weak visits. Lauren seized her opportunity to bring it to a deciding leg when I had a double bounce out of the Treble twenty, and slightly lost focus for a time.

The averages for this game don't reflect the game itself. Lauren made it feel a lot tighter than the stats show. My average would've been so much h higher too if I made more of my scrappy visits. Lauren is definitely one to watch in the future of ladies darts.

My next week's game will only consist of 3 of the 5 games due to losing 2 of our ladies. There have been a couple of special guests (Robyn Byrne & Laura Turner) invited in to play friendly fixtures on this night however due to a personal commitment it is unlikely I will be playing these ladies ... I will aim to complete my 3 games first of which will be streamed against Scotlands Lorraine Hyde. I will be doing the best I can to get myself lined up for a top 8 position by the end of the fixtures.

Those that have been lost and thrown away have gone, it is now time to get ready for the boomerangs return, making the most of the last reversed fixtures.
