Beau-tifully Battered - but still have Festive Fizziness

Week 6 - The final week to try to qualify in the Top 8 of Top Gun Promotions Premier League. With the caliber of players in this league it was all to play for, as point wise there wasn't much separating the ladies. As per every week I had some tough opponents. I just needed to get a few more points in the bag to qualify.

My first game was against the loveliest, most humble ad polite young lady Beau Greaves. Beau & I have traveled around the darts circuit together so I have seen first hand how she has blossomed and grown. Beau had been putting in some varied games over the weeks however she had managed 3 100+ averages also. I knew I had to come out of the blocks quick smart before she found her range and the treble. I started & played quite well throughout the game however no where near good enough. Beau was outstanding -walloping me with a 104.86 average! Even most top flight male players would struggle to match that,

My night didn't go to well after this. There were a few glimmers of excellence however I struggled to get going. I was just pipped against Scotlands Steph Gilmour 3.2 in my final game. I won 2 of my 5 games of the night and managed to bank an additional 4pts. I also have a few legs to go on the board- so if it does go to leg count back that will also help.

Have I done enough to stay in Top 8? I am hoping so. Everything crossed!

Here's to getting into the Festive Spirit:

Hopefully see you all on finals night! Where I can have plenty of Gin-gle Bells to celebrate coming through such a strong field of ladies & international players.
