Eagerly awaited game after the festive season. Lovely to catch up with all team mates and supporters from all over the Lancashire county.
Early start for me with the coach picking me up @ 05.45am. Qualified in a panel darts competition the night before but only managed to get a couple of hours sleep before I had to catch the coach and go on my travels with the Red Army.
Not the start we wanted on the Saturday for the B Team games. This seems to be our bogie team. A few autographs on the infamous 180 banana mind!
Out for something to eat with the team before goin to bed to be bright and breezey ready for the A Team matches on the Sunday. Ally's army unusually struggled.
I personally struggled to settle at first but found my scoring boots just in time to pull myself back from being 2.0 down. Got it back to 2.2 by hitting a nice 16 dart leg. The race for the final double was on. Unfortunately on this occasion I came 2nd.
I am looking to buy a training board with half size trebles and doubles to work on hitting those crucial darts..
